It's cool to be a member of the Houston Zoo. Members receive free admission to the Houston Zoo and many other benefits. Stay all day or just an hour - and go home knowing you can come back any time, free, as a Houston Zoo member.

4D Experience
While you’re at the Houston Zoo, be sure to check out the new 4-D Experience, located in The African Forest, next to the Herzstein Trading Post. Just what is 4-D?
It starts with the stunning visuals of a 3-D movie, and then adds effects like scents, mists, bubbles, lights, and more to bring movies to life.
Now showing at the Zoo are a variety of short family-friendly films, like Dora & Diego’s 4-D Adventure, which is based on Nickelodeon’s hit animated children’s series.

Meet the Keeper Talks
A Meet the Keeper Talk is an opportunity to see zoo animals in action with their keepers. Talks include everything from red panda training to fruit bat feedings. Our YouTube channel includes many videos of Meet The Keeper talks, to give you an idea of what you might see.
